Tonight 8static will be hosting their 4th anniversary show at PhilaMOCA with a lineup of 8-bit/electronic artists from Philly, NYC, Connecticut and Detroit. Representing the City of Brotherly Love will be An0va, a.k.a. Daniel Davis, who creates driving beats with Nintendo Gameboys and math-y guitar licks. Davis is immersed in the local chiptune scene performing with music brethren Cheap Dinosaurs and Autoscroll. In addition to the video game grooves, visuals for the evening will be provided by NYC’s No Carrier and Philly’s Chromacle and Animal Style. Get there early because the night will kicking off with an 8static alumni collaboration featuring a long list of past performers doing one song.
