Tonight Drexel University's WKDU continues their month-long curation of Tuesday Tune-Out at PhilaMOCA with a great lineup of up-and-comers featuring Modern Baseball and Radiator Hospital's Sam Cook-Parrott. Modern Baseball is a young, local four-piece that will actually make you happy about the resurgence of emo/pop-punk happening in music these days. Their tunes are uber catchy, which made it not so surprising that their LP Sports received the reissue treatment from Run For Cover Records. And you should already know how I feel about Sam Cook-Parrott's brilliant lyrics and tunes. Let's just hope that he didn't forget that he's performing at Tuesday Tune-Out this evening and schedule himself for work again like last time. Yeah, I showed up for that one.
