Matt Scheuermann, formerly of The Sidekicks, started a solo project, recording under the moniker roses, which he recently altered to Lowercase Roses to avoid any confusion with the multiple projects already using the former name. Scheuermann shared a three-song EP towards the end of last year that found him journeying far from the sound of his previous band to an isolated place filled with warm, acoustic strums and his genteel, heartwarming vocals. This evening at Everybody Hits, his self-titled EP will be getting an official release on 7” vinyl via Lame-O/Stereophonodon Records.
