Langor & Cheers Elephant Opening for The Spinto Band at KFN May 29

Langor & Cheers Elephant Opening for The Spinto Band at KFN May 29

Tonight The Spinto Band will be wrapping up their residency at Kung Fu Necktie. It’s been a sweet run that the band has shared with plenty of their talented Philly musician pals. They’ve brought along the delightfully quirky indie psych pop of Langor to open the festivities for their last hurrah this month. Bushy-haired mastermind Brian Langan will be bringing his endearing glam rock theatrics to warm up the crowd, and he’ll also be joined on stage this evening by The Spinto Band’s Thomas Hughes on keyboards. Cheers Elephant has been relentless performing and pushing their latest release Like Wind Blows Fire so the local four-piece should be well-rehearsed to deliver an energetically tight set. Get ready to leave your worries behind! Kung Fu Necktie, 1250 N. Front St., 8pm, $8, 21+ - H.M. Kauffman
