Borzoi Boy

New Borzoi Boy EP Available for Streaming & Download

Alexandra Gordon, a.k.a. Borzoi Boy, shared a new batch of songs, packaged as the EP, Good Happy. Synth/keys delicately guide these daydreaming, honest tales. Hope and fascination are ever-present in these reflective and inquisitively-voiced compositions. An ability to articulate the personal, emotive elements of the narrative and simultaneously evaluate from the outside looking in grabs and holds ones attention.

New Track: "Nosebleed" - Borzoi Boy

Recalling a dream, a youthful jangle permeates in "Nosebleed," the latest single from Borzoi Boy. Instrumentally aided by Vincent Joseph Knauf, the song coasts in a bedroom-pop search. An internal monologue spills out in light-level melody. You can catch Borzoi Boy at Hole Foods this Friday, February 16 with Yung Sham, Cooking, and David Attias.

New Track: "Your Name" - Borzoi Boy

Borzoi Boy, a.k.a. Alexandra Gordon, has a new EP out, entitled Bad At Math. Among the six-song set of lo-fi, bedroom-pop ditties, you'll find album standout “Your Name”. Uniting minimalistic keys and percussion in a gentle, twisting flashback, the playful, daydreaming instrumentation counters the dull ache of a desire to go back to a point in the past. We learn to move forward, yet the pangs of heartbreak still linger in the present.

New Borzoi Boy EP Available for Streaming & Download

Philly singer-songwriter Alexandra Gordon is now recording under the moniker Borzoi Boy ("like the Russian greyhound"). Enter The Light captures a certain hushed, candlelit, emotive intimacy. Letting the listener in on the thoughts that are encased in one's mind, Gordon figures out her next move, while reminiscing on love and feelings of loneliness. The duality of brightness and bleakness grips as the sun trickles in through the curtains.
