New Track: "Cinderella" - Instupendo

Aidan Peterson, a.k.a. Instupendo, recently shared a new single “Cinderella,” featured on the forthcoming EP Boys by Girls (due out on June 5). Establishing an elegant atmosphere of contemplation, the first person narrative swims in a placid, confessional composition. However, while the song appears to come from the point of view of a hesitant admirer, protective instincts are also voiced/revealed. Hovering between a daydreaming ideal and the hope that it translates into a reality, one waits to see how the story plays out.

New Remixed Instupendo EP Available for Streaming & Purchase

A remixed spin of Instupendo’s Faces I Know recently emerged. Slow Magic shifts the celestial dynamic of “Fleur,” playing an emphasis on the pulsating waves of danceable motion. Owsey took the cloud-surfing, delicate breaths of “Boy,” and introduced additional punches of sonics, pulling it out of a dream state by increasing the stakes and immediate impact. The vibrant, at ease tones of “Clementine” are propelled futuristically forward by Laxcity, strolling with a pronounced purpose, before blossoming orchestrally.

New Video: Faces I Know - Instupendo

Across a series of streamlined videos, director Alice Agrusa visualizes the vibrant, pensive tranquility of Instupendo’s Faces I Know. The inherent warmth and beauty of both nature and personal, intimate moments shine when highlighted through the buoyant musical movement. Without dialogue, the EP not only serves as a means of transition; it elevates the imagery, encapsulating a vivid hope.

New Track: "Half-Light" (Feat. Kelly Zutrau) (Instupendo Remix) - Rostam

Philly sound sculptor Instupendo, a.k.a. Aidan Peterson, recently shared a remix of former Vampire Weekend member Rostam’s “Half Light,” the title track off his new album, which is out now via Nonesuch Records. It is featured on EP1, a remix collection of songs from his debut release. While retaining its intimate illumination, additional futuristic warmth enters the fray, bubbling to the surface. The delicate march of keys circles and serves as a further catalyst of motion. That tight, ballad groove transitions into a spacious, shimmering dreamscape that manages to outshine the original.
