New Track: "Row Home" - Pilkington

Calm and crushing contrasts in tempo create the framework of the unfortunate aftermath of a relationship gone bad in “Row Home,” the latest single from Pilkington. Soft, sensitive vocals exhibit an emotional connection to the past. However, that flash of nostalgia quickly builds to bursts of conflict-releasing energy. Linking the somber with the supercharged serves as a dynamic hook. As we await the release of the quintet’s full-length debut, you can catch them at Johnny Brenda's on Friday, July 20, in support of The Magic Numbers and Minihorse.

New Pilkington Cassingle Available for Streaming & Purchase

Soft Flesh, the new cassingle from Pilkington, is now available via Black Rd Records. Its title track splices chiptune with a rolling, surf guitar licks, gliding along in vibrant, cruising fashion, while the B-side, “Elixir,” gathers momentum from backend rhythms and rays of synth, as the lyrics depict an isolated tale of searching for answers. The quartet is slated to appear at Boot & Saddle on Wednesday, March 29 with Spelling Reform and Middle Kids.

New Track: "All Around The Neighborhood" - Pilkington

One easily gets swept up by “All Around The Neighborhood,” the latest from Pilkington. Instrumentally dashing through the streets, the song blossoms in power-pop splendor before stripping back to a duel vocal tug and pull. You can find them performing next in Philly on February 9 at MilkBoy, sharing a bill with Carroll and Bad Bad Hats.
