New Music Video: "Indifferent Belushi" - Steady Hands

With all the rain earlier this week and though not all the races yesterday turned out the way we wanted (much love to Beto O'Rourke & Andrew Gillum), we are very happy that the sun is out, and the brakes have been put on this Trump administration trainwreck. Last night was bittersweet, but we're feeling a bit more positive today so we thought Steady Hands' new video for "Indifferent Belushi" might put an added bounce in all our steps this morning. Our apologies to those who are at work or in class and might be feeling some FOMO watching this video. We give you permission to get up, walk out, and enjoy the rest of your day.

New Steady Hands LP Available for Streaming & Purchase

Truth In Comedy, the new LP from Steady Hands (featuring Modern Baseball's Sean Huber), is out now via Lame-O Records. Produced by Brian McTear at Miner Street Recordings, the record navigates through ongoing trials and tribulations with an earnest exuberance. Finding a knack for creating an opening-book setting and building upon precisely assembled melodies into euphoric releases, these songs thread that personal-universal line. Riding steadily nuanced progressions, the band finds ways to embrace the moments, and still tear it up. (Photo by Chelsea Christer)

New Track: "Indifferent Belushi" - Steady Hands

Truth In Comedy is the forthcoming album from Steady Hands, featuring ex-Modern Baseball drummer Sean Huber in the forefront. Due out on October 19 via Lame-O Records, “Indifferent Belushi,” the lead single from the Brian McTear-produced album, begins with spright keys and a personal admission. Off and running on close to empty, the melodic tune taps into a recollection of attempting to get lost in distractions, partying, etc. and not feeling satisfied. There’s a multifaceted, pleasantly-inviting casualness to the anthem, with a chorus that naturally bookends the summer.

New Steady Hands Charitable Live Album Available for Streaming & Purchase

Modern Baseball's Sean Huber, a.k.a. Steady Hands, put out a compilation of his first four EPs and a new track on a double LP, titled Rude Boys Of Bar Rock, earlier this month via Lame-O Records. He also posted a new music video for the single, "Under The Rug," which starred the "#1 daug," Bruce. And in the spirit of giving this season, he has shared a live performance album that will benefit Wags Rescue & Referral, "an organization in Pennsylvania that saves dogs from gassing shelters in the south and brings them to foster homes until they can find a forever family," where we're assuming that he found his adorable best friend. Steady Hands - Live at Ortlieb's was recorded on December 4, 2016 by Jeff Travitz at Huber's recent hometown release celebration, held at the Fishtown watering hole. (Photo by Punks in Vegas)

New Music Video: "Under The Rug" - Steady Hands

To honor the arrival of their double LP Rude Boys Of Bar Rock (Lame-O Records), Steady Hands, who is fronted by Modern Baseball drummer Sean Huber, just shared a new music video for album opener "Under The Rug". Directed by Emily Dubin, the camera focuses on the adorable "#1 daug," Bruce, enjoying a lazy afternoon with his favorite toy and a vinyl copy of the group's new record. Keeping it simple; it becomes more eye candy for animal lovin' YouTubers. (Photo by Jessica Flynn)
