Olivia Block "Axiolite"

Experimental composer and multi-media artist Olivia Block has released the opening track, "Axiolite", from her new album, Innocent Passage in the Territorial Sea, which is available today, November 19th, via Room40.

This new album is the product of a pandemic, a vintage Korg synth organ, psychedelic mushrooms, and a highly skilled musician.

You can help Olivia celebrate the release of her new album on November 30th at Empty Bottle with Jon Mueller and Matchess.

Sun Speak "Daliah Orbits"

Sun Speak recently released their latest single, "Daliah Orbits", from their forthcoming album, Trance, which is due out on Friday, November 19th, via Flood Music.

This is primarily the work of the duo of Matt Gold (guitar, bass) and Nate Friedman (drums). For this release, their fifth, they were joined by engineer Dan Pierson on Wurlitzer and analog synthesizer and captured backing vocals from Yoon Sun Choi and Vinnie Sperrazza on two tracks.

Pedway "The Infrared"

Pedway recently released the second single, "The Infrared", from their forthcoming LP, Vitalic, which is set to be released on November 2nd via ears&eyes.

This is the expiremental jazz trio of Caroline Davis (alto saxophone), Matthew Golombisky (electric bass), and Quin Kirchner (drums).

This is the first new music from the trio since 2013's Passion Ball, and the project was culled from 3 hours of live material recorded at The Whistler and Cafe Mustache in 2017. Unfortunately, this was the last time the trio, who know live in three very different areas of the world, performed together.
