Squiggly Lines - Dream Pop Single "Dragonfly", New Album 09.21

Squiggly Lines is a mysterious indie pop band from Toronto. Their latest single is a dreamy pop track titled “Dragonfly” which is, in their words “a song about bugs”. This track has somber tones and rather sad lyrics about missing a person all the way in Montreal at first before kickin’ in with a more upbeat B section. The melancholy sound of the verse still has a comforting feel to it. I hear some Homeshake vibes in this tune. Squiggly Lines has a new album being released on September 21st. – Kris Gies

New Sun Organ LP Available for Streaming & Purchase

Sun Organ just dropped a new self-titled full-length album. Eerie, heavy instrumentation paints an unforgiving sonic landscape, which is cut through and given a personal, peaceful perspective by the vocals. That shifting balance of melody and mysterious danger is a vibrant, volatile dynamic. Dig in!

New Night Sins Album Available for Streaming & Purchase

Portrait in Silver is the new album from Night Sins, a.k.a. Kyle Kimball (of Nothing), and is available via Louisville, KY's Funeral Party. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Nick Bassett (Whirr/Nothing). The recordings stealthily stride through the darkness in a ghostly, synth-forward manner, admittedly more akin to Depeche Mode's Violator than The Sisters of Mercy's Floodland. Night Sins will be bringing the retro dance party into the shadows this evening at Johnny Brenda's, with support from Carnivorous Bells, Forever Chasing Honey Bees, and Drowse.

New Track: "After Images" - Moor Mother

We recently shared a rad, new collaboration of Moor Mother with Zonal, the duo consists of God Flesh/Jesu's Justin K. Broadrick and electronic producer Kevin Martin (The Bug, King Midas Sound). The Philly genre-bending artist also just announced the release for Analog Fluids Of Sonic Black Holes. The solo follow-up to Fetish Bones is scheduled to arrive on November 8 via Don Giovanni Records. And with its lead single “After Images,” electronics and spiritual samples are tuned in as a bombarding, percussive beat announces its advent. Camae Ayewa's confident, commanding vocals serve as an urgent warning.
