Weekend Warrior, October 15 - 17

Weekend Warrior, October 15 - 17

Sorry folks, we’re taking a break today for the first time in a long time to prepare for the festivities this evening. By now, you should already know that tonight is our Anniversary Party at Johnny Brenda’s, and we wanted to thank everyone for all the kind words and support that we’ve received since we’ve joined the Philly music community. It’s been a wonderful time watching it prosper, flourish and come together in a way that we’ve never seen it happen before here. The most exciting thing is that we truly believe this is only just the beginning. It constantly amazes us all the interesting new artists that we discover everyday, and we look forward to the many more who will join us because let’s face it. Philly rocks! And tonight we are going to prove why that statement is true with are special guests The Extraordinaires, An American Chinese and Power Animal! Yes, our staff kind of creamed a little when we confirmed this bill, and we are happy to finally share it with you this evening. You’ll also be treated to sweet tunes spun by DJ Jersey Dan and visual art provided by Meredith Edlow as well as FREE mags, pins and Meredith’s & Frannie’s tasty homemade oatmeal chocolate chip “crack cookies”. We hope that you can join us in the fun! “It’s goin’ to be Legen-(and I hope that you’re not lactose intolerant)-DARY!” - The Deli Staff
